FRANKLIN SAVINGS BANK ELEVATES BRIAN BOZAK TO PRESIDENT & COO

Ron Magoon, Chief Executive Officer of Franklin Savings Bank, announced today the recent promotion of Brian Bozak to President & COO as part of a leadership succession plan. Magoon will retain the title of Chief Executive Officer and will remain as a member of the bank’s Board of Directors until his retirement in 2024.

 

“Brian joined the bank over six years ago and has proven to be a valuable addition to the executive leadership team. His experience, expertise, and work ethic have contributed greatly to our strong performance in recent years,” commented Ron Magoon, CEO of Franklin Savings Bank. “This leadership transition has been planned over recent years as part of the Bank’s Executive Succession Plan. We are fortunate that Brian was interested in this opportunity, thereby enabling the transition in leadership to occur from within our organization. I have the utmost confidence that he will do well as the next leader of the bank.”

 

Bozak joined Franklin Savings Bank in 2016 as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer, then was later promoted to Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer. He is also a Corporator of the bank and has over 21 years of experience in the banking industry.  Bozak is a graduate of the American Bankers Association’s Stonier Graduate School of Banking, and has an MBA in international business along with an M.S. in accountancy from Schiller International University based in Dunedin, Fla. In addition, he is a licensed CPA in both Florida and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

 

Locally, Bozak is a member of the Board of Directors for Belknap Economic Development Council and serves on their loan committee. He and his family reside in Sanbornton.
