What is Mobile Wallet?
A mobile wallet is a way to carry your credit card or debit card information in a digital form on your mobile device. Instead of using your physical plastic card to make purchases, you can pay with your smartphone, tablet, or smartwatch.
How do I add my Franklin Savings Bank Visa Debit Card to Mobile Wallet?
Instructions: Adding your Franklin Savings Bank Visa® Debit Card on an eligible Apple®, Samsung or Android™ device is easy. First, go to the Wallet app and tap ‘Add Credit or Debit Card’. Then, follow the steps to add a new card. Franklin Savings Bank will verify your account information. Should we find more information is needed to verify your card, you will be directed to call the Digital Wallet Authentication Center at 1.844.646.5465 to complete your enrollment. Once your card is verified, you can begin using mobile wallet! For security purposes, you will also receive a confirmation letter from Franklin Savings Bank stating that your Visa® Debit Card has been added to a mobile wallet.
If Samsung Pay© or Google Pay© is not already loaded onto your mobile device, please click the app below that fits your device to get started.
What should I do when I receive a new or replacement card?
When a card enrolled in Mobile Wallet expires, Franklin Savings Bank will automatically update your expiration date within Mobile Wallet on your behalf. There will be no action necessary on your part. However, if you have been issued a new card number, you will need to delete the old card, then add the new card to Apple Pay©, Samsung Pay©, or Google Pay©.
Are my payments safe with Mobile Wallet?
Yes. With several layers of authentication, your information is protected from unauthorized access. A personal password and phone activation code also help to keep your information secure. Since your Mobile Wallet doesn’t store your debit card number on a device, you never reveal your name, card number, or 3-digit security code to merchants. Your transactions are also monitored by Franklin Savings Bank’s risk and fraud detection center.
Is mobile wallet free?
There is no cost. Just sign up! Remember that text message and data rates may apply.
