FRANKLIN SAVINGS BANK GRANTS $6,000 TO TAPPLY-THOMPSON COMMUNITY CENTER

March 25, 2026

Franklin Savings Bank recently granted $6,000 to Tapply-Thompson Community Center to support the purchase of new furnishings for their new music room. The grant went towards the purchase of instruments, and other music gear. They are also adding lights, sound proofing equipment, furniture and secure cabinets to store the instruments properly.

The Tapply-Thompson Community Center offers a diversified program of youth activities that include Summer Day Camps, Youth Sports, After School Programs, Teen Programming, Special Events and Enrichment Programs such as their New Music Offering, The Learn to Love Music Program.

“This generous grant award from the Franklin Savings Bank Fund for Community Advancement will allow us to put the finishing touches on our new music program… The Tapply-Thompson Community Center (TTCC) will now be able to outfit and furnish our new music room with lighting, soundproofing and secure spaces for our amazing array of new instruments. With the help from our community partners such as Franklin Savings Bank (FSB), we will be holding guitar, ukulele, and drumming classes. “ explains Mark Dionne, Grants and Community Engagement Manager at the TTCC.

“We believe that a thriving community is built on opportunities for connection, creativity, and growth. Supporting the new music room at Tapply-Thompson Community Center means investing in a space where people of all ages can come together, express themselves, and discover their talents,” explains Brian Bozak, President & CEO, Franklin Savings Bank. “We’re proud to help bring more music – and joy – to the heart of our community.”
