Franklin Savings Bank recently granted $5,000 to SEE Science Center, Inc. through its Fund for Community Advancement Program to support the expansion of their regenerative medicine outreach program to middle school students in Merrimack and Goffstown.
“We can’t express enough how important it is to showcase career pathways to middle school students,” comments Shana Hawrylchak, SEE Science Center Executive Director. “So often these discussions don’t start until high school, when students have already self-selected out of so many future paths. We are so thankful that FSB has recognized the importance of giving all students, regardless of income or background, the opportunity the learn and be a part of the amazing technologies and growth being experienced in New Hampshire’s emerging tech economy.”
The SEE Science Center’s mission is to engage our community in the joyful, active exploration of science and innovation. They believe in the power of play to nurture scientific curiosity and positive development in children, families and our community through exploring the wonder of science.
“We believe that investing in young minds today builds the innovators of tomorrow. Supporting the SEE Science Center’s regenerative medicine outreach program gives middle school students an exciting opportunity to explore cutting-edge science right here in our community,” says Brian Bozak, President & CEO at Franklin Savings Bank. “We’re proud to help spark curiosity, inspire future careers, and strengthen STEM education for the next generation.”
