For the second year in a row, Franklin Savings Bank is the Lead Sponsor of the WMUR Toys for Tots drive, which is managed by The Marines Toys for Tots Foundation. The goal of this program is to bring joy to children in our area. All eight FSB locations will be drop off locations for unwrapped children’s toys through December 8th.
In addition, the bank is continuing its annual sponsorship of the Toys for Tots drive through the Franklin Police Department. This drive supports individuals and families in need throughout the city of Franklin, NH.
“I am always in awe of the generosity of our community members and employees during the holidays, and all year long,” comments Jenn Demers, Marketing and Community Engagement Officer. “Every year the Marines pick up boxes stuffed full of toys that have been dropped off by local individuals who want to make a difference to children at Christmas. Sometimes they even need to make two or three trips. It’s truly inspiring!”
As sponsors of the Franklin Police Toys for Tots drive, our employees sponsor individuals for the holidays. They buy toys, but also items like coats, mittens, hats, and clothing for individuals right here in Franklin that need our support.
“The holidays can be a fun and exciting time, but it can also be a real challenge for those struggling to support their families,” continues Demers. “That’s why we participate in drives like Toys for Tots and also hold drives for local food pantries.
