Diane Paradis, branch manager of Franklin Savings Bank’s Goffstown office, hands Alex LaPointe, owner of The Blue Moose Café, with a $1,250 gift to purchase 125, $10 gift certificates to the bank’s employees.
Franklin Savings Bank recently presented Alex LaPointe, owner of The Blue Moose Café, with a $1,250 check to purchase 125, $10 gift certificates for its employees to enjoy at this popular local eatery. Diane Paradis, branch manager of the Bank’s Goffstown office, surprised Alex with the check outside his restaurant while practicing safe social distancing.
According to Diane, “I heard from another Goffstown business owner that The Blue Moose Café had encountered a few challenges with some of their equipment. They suffered the loss of one of their refrigerators, then a freezer within a span of a few weeks. We really wanted to help them out as we know how challenging it has been for restaurants being limited to take-out, which has adversely impacted their business during these unprecedented times.”
Throughout the pandemic outbreak, Franklin Savings Bank treated its employees to $10 gift certificates to local businesses located in their market area – totaling $8,750 in value. The Bank also had lunch and dinner delivered to first responders, including Gilford Police Department, Franklin Police Department, Boscawen Police Department, Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office, Concord Fire Department and Franklin Regional Hospital.
