Franklin Savings Bank recently granted $10,000 to the Tilton-Northfield Little League (TNLL) to support the purchase of a new scoreboard and fence repair for the local community ball field. These field improvements will help bring more games and fundraising opportunities to the home field, and many more years of family and community memories.
“TNLL provides Little League baseball for kids in the Tilton, Northfield, Sanbornton, Canterbury, Hill, and Franklin areas. Our mission is to provide a safe and competitive atmosphere for the kids, while promoting sportsmanship, loyalty, honesty and respect. We strive to keep it affordable to allow every child the opportunity.” Mark Hebert, Tilton Northfield Little League President.
The Tilton-Northfield Little League has been around for many generations and runs solely on donations. Their goal is for the improvements to provide more opportunities for community engagement and involvement.
“The comradery, growth, teamwork and respect that is learned through team sports and activities provides an excellent way for communities to come together,” comments Brian Bozak, President & CEO, Franklin Savings Bank. “We are happy to provide an opportunity for improvements to the Tilton-Northfield Little League field so that these experiences can be shared for generations to come.”
