Where Should I Buy My Blooms?

Introducing Our Favorite Local Nurseries for Spring Flowers

Spring has indeed sprung in New Hampshire and the Franklin Savings Bank team couldn’t be happier about it. That’s why we decided to share a few of our favorite local nurseries, each one an ideal destination for flowers, plants, and all the essentials you need to start and nurture your garden this spring.

Each of the following nurseries is located close by to one of our branches, so if you bank with us, you’re not far from these blooming businesses!

Punch Brook Farm & Greenhouse, Franklin

With over 40 years of experience growing superior plants, Punch Brook Farm & Greenhouse located at 77 North Road in Franklin is worth a trip. Owner Lisa Mason grows “pesticide free” annuals, perennials and vegetable plants using modern techniques and natural pest companion crops. Farm-raised lamb and pork are also available for sale. Open daily from 9am to 5pm and Sunday from 9am to 3pm. Don’t delay your visit because Lisa sells most of her products by mid-June. Call 603.934.2738 or check Punch Brook Farm out on Facebook.

Emma’s Perennials, Hill

Located off Rt. 3 at 398 Borough Road in Hill, Emma’s Perennials offers a wide-range of conifers, trees, shrubs, perennials and beautiful garden pottery and sculpture to add a finishing touch to your garden. Known as a “hidden gem”, visit them daily from 9am to 5pm, call 603.744.3805 or follow them on Facebook. Add Emma’s Perennials to your list of nurseries to visit this spring. It’s a must-see stop for any gardener!

Jacques Flower Shop & Garden Center, Manchester

Since 1910, Jacques Flower Shop & Garden Center has been cultivating plants and vegetables in the Manchester area. Owners Paul & Nancy Godbout, along with their children, Adam & Aimee, and three grandchildren, dedicate themselves to providing quality plants and flowers delivered with exceptional customer service to their customers. Jacques Garden Center features a vast assortment of colorful annuals, azaleas, rhododendrons, perennials, hanging plants, and more. Conveniently located at 712 Mast Road in Manchester, Jacques is open Monday – Saturday, 8am to 6pm and Sunday, 9am to 3pm, or visit them at jacquesflowers.com.

Of course, these are just three of our favorites; however, there are plenty of plant nurseries throughout New Hampshire for you to explore this season. Check out the full directory of nurseries and garden centers in NH, and share your favorite with us on social media by following us on Facebook or Instagram!

Whether or not you have a green thumb, we hope you stop to smell the flowers this season, and remember to contact our team when you’re ready to plant and nurture your financial future!
