One way we like to support our Veterans is with our Passkey Checking account. This account earns monthly interest and waives the $15 monthly service charge. Customers receive a special gift at account opening and FSB makes an annual donation for each new account opened to a local Veterans organization. Some groups we have bestowed donations to include Liberty House (Manchester), NH Veterans Home (Tilton), Patriot Resilient Leadership Institute (Gilford), Newfound Area Memorial VFW Post #10640 (Bristol), and Franklin VFW Post 1698. Since we launched our Passkey Checking account in 2018, FSB has awarded $3,000 in donations to these groups.
As a lender who supports the needs of businesses of all types and sizes, our team works with individuals transitioning from military service to civilian life by offering access to funding for Veteran-owned businesses through our partnerships with several lenders, such as the Small Business Administration. The SBA is a government agency that connects entrepreneurs with lenders to obtain assistance with starting their own business.
FSB was also awarded the distinction of being a Veteran-Friendly Business by the NH Department of Military Affairs and Veterans Services and NH Employment securing for having policies, practices and workplace cultures that honor, fortify, empower and impact the lives of our service members, Veterans and their families.
